Bio

(the self indulgent version:)

I entered life through the door of the Pike Place Market. Publications include The Nervous Breakdown, Switched-on Gutenberg, Upstart Ireland, qarrtsiluni, Pontoon 7, Metro Poetry Buses, Drash, and Real Change. Performances include Seattle City Council, Bumbershoot festival, Bart Baxter Poetry in Performance, and Band of Poets. I taught a poetry class at Seattle Central Community College in fall of 2009. I have been a poetry editor and cross-genre editor for The Pitkin Review. In 2009, my poem "Dual Cymbals" took 2nd place at SEAF. I curated the Seattle City Council Words' Worth poetry reading series in 2010. I have an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College.
